A little about me

My favorite hobby is scuba diving. Favorite dive locale? Bonaire.

I have three amazing children, ages 26, 22, and 9 years! I'm married to a very intelligent man, Kevin. The time span between children has presented many challenges, but the rewards greatly outweigh the obstacles.  I have enjoyed the gift of being a stay-at-home mom, and I have also had the privilege to work outside the home in a corporate atmosphere. I know what it is like to be a struggling single mom, and to be part of a thriving family. I have pulled from those experiences a vast understanding of what we humans currently have to navigate, and the toll it can take on our bodies.

My love of giving therapeutic massage grew out receiving quality massage over the past 20 years, as well as identifying what I did not like about certain massages. My primary love language is touch, and that now flows seamlessly into my work. My desire is to be a safe place where men and women of all ages can turn for relaxation, as well as assistance with emotional and physical healing.

I have experienced healing massage during times when I was physically pushing my body to its limits with hip-hop and jazz dancing (laughter is allowed), and intense workouts.  Because of this experience, I know the physical benefits of massage firsthand. Massages I received in times of stress helped me to understand the extreme benefit of being able to just let go, and allow a knowledgeable massage therapist to help me break free from the toils of a stress-filled lifestyle. Whether it was work-stress or personal life stresses, massage was always there to help me re-center and release the tension from my tissues.

I had the opportunity to experience Pre-Natal Massage as well, which allowed me to recognize its overwhelming benefits...and it gave me a new perspective on what I could give my clients.

Listening to clients is key to providing an unforgettable massage experience - one that is truly tailored to my clients' individual needs and desires. When I look back on my own experiences, the only massages that ever disappointed me were the ones where the practitioner did not seem to hear me, and just went through some sort of routine.

I look forward to hearing you, and providing massage therapy that meets or exceeds your expectations!
